I'm researching the Chaplin sisters for my early music blog www.semibrevity.com

Kate Chaplin (1865 – 1948) played the viola d’amore and was taught by George Saint-George (d.1924) who owned a Guidanti, which was likely the model for the instrument which he made for Kate.

I’m trying to locate both the original Guidanti and the copy, which he made for Kate, and wonder if you might be able to help me.
